SERVOTRONICS INC. Elma, New York Business: Defense Contractor Scope of Project
Servotronics is one of the Country's leading manufacturers of servo-control guides used by the United States military in missile guidance systems. In 1993 Servotronics built a state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Elma, New York. Servotronics drew upon nearly all of BN Systems expertise to meet their communications needs. Solution Working in a security sensitive environment Servotronics needed a camera surveillance system to insure their information and products' protection. BN Systems helped develop a 32 camera closed circuit television monitoring system with three remote monitoring stations and a VCR recording station. Due to the size of the facility and mobility of the workforce, timely dissemination of information was a major issue. Various phases of production needed to be contacted with their specific information relayed to them alone without disturbing other area of the plant. BN Systems, Inc. installed a Valcom 4 zone 120 speaker and horn paging system. This allowed the Servotronics personnel to share timely and critical information to several wide, targeted, groups. To facilitate the plants demanding and growing need for communications BN Systems, Inc. installed a 32 line by 100 station Comdial DXP PBX with LCD speakerphones. The entire plant was pre-cabled at over 150 locations for voice and data to make future add-ons and expansion faster and less costly. D'Alba and Donovan, a Williamsville, New York based accounting and consulting firm has grown to become a highly successful company in Western New York. D'Alba and Donovan had outgrown its existing facility and moved into a new 14,000 square foot office. Solution BN Systems, Inc. installed a new structured wiring system with over 250 outlets. To help D'Alba and Donovan speed their frequent moves and changes, both voice and data were put into on patch panel formats. A new Comdial FXT 80 port switch was installed with a T-1 interface and DID capability. An 8 port voice mail was integrated to provide the firm with call recording and monitoring ability. Harris Hill / McGuire GroupBusiness: Health Care Facilities Scope of Project
One of Western New York's leading adult care providers, The McGuire Group, prides itself on offering quality continuing health care solutions. Three of the McGuire Group's holdings needed updates to stay competitive. Solution The McGuire group chose BN Systems, Inc. to upgrade their out-of-date and restrictive phone and voice mail systems. Harris Hill Nursing Home in Williamsville needed to upgrade their phone and voice mail system to a state-of-the-art system that was capable of accommodating Harris Hill's current and future expansion projects. BN Systems, Inc. installed Comdial's DXP-Plus to meet Harris Hills needs. Two other McGuire group holdings were faced with a different problem. Autumn View Manor in Hamburg, New York and Northgate Manor in North Tonawanda, New York both had phone systems that were out of date and no longer met the needs of the faculties. Autumn View and Northgate also chose Comdial's DXP-Plus system.
